Welcome to Cal Poly's Community based Learning (CBL) portal. This portal is being designed to provide extensive resources for:

Faculty: Learn how service-learning or engaged research can enhance your teaching and scholarship. Access resources on course design, funding, and scholarship.

Students: find service-learning courses, become a service-learning leader, and get more involved in your community, both locally and globally.

Community Partners: Develop campus-community partnerships and find resources for sustaining them.

Service-learning at Cal Poly is a collaborative program between Student Affairs (SA) and Academic Program and Planning (APP) that addresses critical community needs while reinforcing course content through a learn-by-doing approach.

For more information and providing suggestions on desired resources, please don't hesitate to contact the faculty liaison for Service-Learning (Dr. Anurag Pande) at apande@calpoly.edu.
